• Born in London 
• Studied Fine Arts at Bath Academy of Art UK 
• Art Teacher’s Diploma at Leicester University 
• Participated in group exhibitions and travelled  in Europe 
• Settled in Cyprus in 1966 
• Lived and worked in Bellapais, where,  with husband Costas Joachim, they established their own Studio & Gallery until  forced to leave in 1974 
• During the next three years, lived and  worked in London and Athens and returned to Nicosia Cyprus in 1977 where their new Bellapais Studio & Gallery in Dasoupolis was re-established. 
• Taught art at the American International School Cyprus from 1987 to 1998 
• Permanent exhibition at the Bellapais Studio 18 Livaniou Str Nicosia    Tel. 02-427001 
• Susan Kerr's first solo exhibition was at the Cyprus Hilton in 1969 and she has subsequently held eight more solo exhibitions in Cyprus and two in Germany. She has participated in numerous group exhibitions in Cyprus and has many paintings in private collections in Cyprus and abroad. 
• Susan Kerr's paintings are a reflection of the Cyprus environment but the most essential elements are the qualities of light, colour and abstraction . The atmosphere and clarity of light and colour are expressed in both figurative and non-figurative works. More recent paintings revolve around themes based on mythology, natural rock forms, the elements and seascapes.
